I love writing. I live writing. I thoroughly enjoy my craft and improving and expanding my abilities beyond what I am comfortable with. One way I expand my craft is through researching what makes for good writing. As a freelance writer, I want to improve. I want my clients to be satisfied with my work, whether they are paying me $5.00 for 500 words or $100.
I mean, who wants to be a mediocre writer? (Please don't answer that!)
Say you're like me, and you want to improve your writing and become inspired during my your hours. (Off hours? What off hours?!) That's great! As a writer, you should constantly be improving your skill level.

Ezine Articles Site
I actually find that Ezine Articles is an amazing resource for writers. While the site isn't monetized, it does offer a lot of free "training" for writers to improve their article writing ability. The templates are also especially helpful in helping me come up with a different way to go about writing a topic.
